No check engine lights prior to this, car started to make a noise pulled over to check it out as I was merging over low oil pressure showed and coolant level over temperature, gear then dropped to neutral, managed to pull over without any accidents car then shut off, oil leaked, it makes a horrible engine noise when starting, had to tow it back. only had the car a year maintenance was up to date.

part of the headrest assembly fractured suddenly causing the headrest to burst while I was sitting in the passenger seat. i was immediately sore from my shoulders up. there were no warning lights or recalls on my vehicle at the time.

I got into the car and noticed the front passenger head rest was not seated correctly and had extended forward. As soon as I moved the seat forward to see why, it sprung forward.

My car started jumping after purchssing it in November 2025 used. The gear would feel like it was slipping. In March 2026 I parked my car turned it off let off the brake and it rolled. I have used the emergency brake since then. The gas gauge is off. The miles and gauge do not line up correctly and I was advised fuel pump may be off. It will drink gas up within a few miles. Check engine light came on without warning. Took it to check it out said oil sensor. He said replace it soon as you can still driveable. The next day i drove to my sons college and the jeep had no power, the check service on the screen popped up. And the jeep would not accelerate. I was anle to take it to O'Reilly and several codes appeared stating 2 gear shift ratio inaccurate 7 gear shift ratio inaccurate, engine oil pressure control circuit performance stuck off, clutch temp threshold achieved auto stick inhibit. The employee said he had never seen these codes populate. He asked if i had smelled any transmission fluid burning. I said no. No leaks nothing. Had the car for 7 months. He stated transmission isnt any good. That I would need a deep decoding done to say for sure. Car is in limp mode now. Unable to drive safely.

After arriving at the residence, the contact became aware that the front driver's side seat headrest had exploded. The contact’s neck and head were hurt from the impact and from being thrust forward. The contact sought medical attention for whiplash. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed with a deployed headrest. The contact was informed that the headrest needed to be replaced. The dealer suggested replacing both front seat headrests. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 76,000.

ACC automatically canceled without braking causing car to either slow down immediately or speed up unsafely, slippery road light turns on, on dash while driving straight, lunging of the car that feels like tires are spinning and or hesitation.

Despite having the EGR replaced under recall the unit still exploded while driving on wed 4 Mar 2026. Fluids were leaking and had indicated issues with the electric shifter. The local dealerships states the egr cooler needs replaced, coolant tank, DPF and oil change (despite just being done the Saturday before). Refusing to acknowledge any connection to previous recall or associated damages. Contacted FCA customer support and ignored my concerns and said just pay the dealer the $6000+.

Check engine light came on and when we had it tested with the OBD‑II scanner it came back with a Fuel system wiring harness corrosion Emission control module software updates Transmission shift issues.

While driving my vehicle on the highway, the steering wheel locked up and it put itself into neutral. The abs system notification and another light was active and my jeep stated my vehicle was going too fast for the gear it was in. The abs breaking system bypassed the nss safety feature in my jeep causing me to go off the road as a I lost all control of the steering in my vehicle. Upon a check by the mechanic, I had faulty wiring in the wiring harness which they cannot replace because the part is no longer made. My jeep is only a 2015. I went off the road because there was poor weather - it was snowing out and my vehicle would not respond to any gear resulting in my turning the vehicle off. My jeep was towed to the dealership for diagnosis. I have not picked up my jeep yet due to the dealership schedule but have attached the communication with them concerning the problems.

Sudden unintended acceleration while braking. Engine revved against brake input. Has happened multiple times. Need to step on the brake hard and wait for it to pass.

When raining the water will leak throug the sunroof or headliner not sure where it comes through but it comes from 2 places one hitting the arm rest / middle console which caused the terrain selection to go out and im worried it will cause the screen or something else to go out and catch on fire as I read it is common with these problems , when I purchased the vehicle as well they said it was just a frozen trunk gate spring but once I looked up the problem happening it is said to cause the gate to go out

Both driver side and passenger side doors are clicking when they open and close, seems like a hinge has been damaged. When opening the doors they will close on their own quickly unless opened all the way.

After a very long road trip, I noticed that the rear wheel well liners had come in contact with the rear tires. The contact was severe enough and prolonged enough to wear down the edge of the tires to the cords. Once I noticed the damage, I stopped driving the vehicle until I could get new tires. I do not have the tires but I took pictures and the wheel well liners still have a hole in them. Had I not noticed the damage, a catastrophic failure of the tire could have resulted with unknow consequences to myself or those driving near me. The wheel well liners did not come loose or detached from the vehicle. They somehow flexed forward and made contact with the tire. The tire/wheel did not flex or move rearward. This would have required major damage to the suspension of the vehicle and the vehicle would have been undrivable. My assumption is that with the very wet road conditions, the wheel well liners became very flexible but not enough to contact the tires. At highway speeds, due to the air flow around the vehicle, it appears that the lower quarter panels flexed inwards. This allowed the now flexible wheel well liner to flex forward, due to air pressure behind the wheel well liner, and make contact with the tire. Tire tires involved are not the stock make and model but were the stock size. I will be adding a small aluminum strip to the bottom of the wheel well liner to prevent this from happening in the future.

High beams are not activating when enabled from the steering column. Both automatic and manual switches for the vehicles high beams do not enable the lighting in front of the car. The odometer also does not signal the high beams are active in this scenario as well.

While driving ALL headlights suddenly went out. This has happened a few times now while waiting for our service appointment. It has occurred in both high and low beam configurations. The lights have failed when the dash switch is in the Auto OR in the On positions. The vehicle is definitely available for inspection, however it is currently being serviced for this defect. Failure of all forward-facing lights could be fatal at speed. We were in our driveway and on small town streets when it has occurred, but next time? We showed the service representative a video of the failure recorded 09/21/2022 in our driveway, high beams on and switch in Auto position when all lights failed. I did not check for OBDII codes.

Air suspension warning needs to be replaced

Vehicle purchased 2/9/23 First claim is filed at tire kingdom 2/14/23 ( tires needed balancing , lower oil pan gasket , belt tensioner mentioned the engine shaking and was told they aren’t sure ) Tire kingdom ; 2/16/23 ( engine mounts changed ) Tire kingdom ; 2/20/23 engine diagnostics ( tire kingdom found no failure no check engine light ) Tirekingdom; 2/23/23 ( spark plugs , harmonic balancer ) Dealership 2/27/23 cylinder head replacements Dealership ; 3/14/23 engine mounts , alignment tire balance ( claim denied ) thermostat denied as no failure Tirekingdom ; 3/15/23 referred back to dealership for engine issue again . Dealership ; dropped off on 3/20/23 reported complete engine failure . Inspectors report 4/10/23 - inspection report confirmed engine failure . 4/22/23 received vehicle back 4/22/23 contacted silverrock and noted burning smell , poor acceleration, whining noises etc 4/23/23 check engine light comes on . 4/25/23 takes vehicle back to service center vehicle has an evap code . 5/1 contacted dealership to check on status of the vehicle , dealership has noted transmission failure , leaking oil pan . The engine that was used ( the dealership informed carvana / silverrock at the time of receipt is defective ) has indeed been categorized as defective .

Now a total of 4 times the contact stated that while driving approximately 30-35 mph the vehicle's gear shifter would slip from drive into neutral after driving a short distance. The contact mentioned that during this time when the vehicle's transmission has slipped into neutral the display on the dashboard would be a white line with two red dots instead of the "N" for neutral. AT 70000 MILES, MY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM BEGAN TO HISS AND NOT OPERATE FULLY. I AM TOLD IT HAS A LEAK IN THE SYSTEM BUT AS I LOOK ONLINE, THIS IS A COMMON JEEP PROBLEM FOR 2015 MODELS. THEY ARE RECOMMENDING A SYSTEM REPLACEMENT ON A 4 YR OLD VEHICLE (AT THE TIME OF FIRST OCCURRENCE). NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. NO OFF ROAD USE. IT'S NOT ISOLATED. *TR

THE DEALER WORKED ON ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS BEHIND THE MEDIA CENTER, AND REPLACED A WIRING HARNESS. THE PROBLEMS CONTINUED TO MULTIPLY AND THE VEHICLE HASN'T BEEN THE SAME, SINCE. I have 34,000 miles on my keep I am the original owner and my tires have been rotated every 5,000 miles. The tread is cracking on every tire. Tire size is 265/59/20 Fortera hl. I called Goodyear and they will do nothing they say rotting is only warranted for 4 years. How can that be? It’s a 60,000 mile tire. I brought it to Goodyear in Jericho N.Y and was told by Sean there is nothing he could do. I was also in touch with Pamela Pringle from customer support and she never got back to me. It is unsafe to drive on those tires and Goodyear should replace them.

I BOUGHT A GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED WITH MICHELIN LATITUDE TOUR TIRES ON IT. AT 24,900 MILES I NOTICED A BULGE IN ONE TIRE UPON INSPECTION OF THE OTHER TIRES I HAD ANOTHER TIRE WITH A BULGE IN IT. THE VIN OF THE VEHICLE IS [XXX] THE DOT OF THE TIRES ARE AP5E 00BX 3814. I CARRIED IT TO THE JEEP DEALER AND THEY SENT ME TO A MICHELIN DEALER. THE PERSON AT THE MICHELIN JUST LOOKED AT THE TIRE AND SAID IT WAS A IMPACT BULGE AND THAT MICHELIN WOULD NOT COVER THAT ON WARRANTY. I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER MICHELIN DEALER AND HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE TIRE OFF THE RIM TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. I CONTACTED MICHELIN AND THEY WERE WILLING TO HELP OUT ON THE TIRES WHETHER IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY OR NOT. THAT TELLS ME THEY KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE TIRES AND THEY WANT TO KEEP IT QUITE BY TRYING TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER SO THEY DON'T REPORT THEM. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE VEHICLE WITH THESE TIRES. I WILL NOT PUT MY LIFE OR MY WIFE'S LIFE IN DANGER BECAUSE OF THESE TIRES. THESE TIRES WILL BLOW IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME. I WORKED IN A TIRE FACTORY FOR 25 YEARS AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN IMPACT BULGE. I HAVE CUT UP AND ANALYZED THOUSANDS OF TIRES AND NO IMPACT CAUSED THESE BULGES.
