2011 Keystone Montana Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

WE WERE 4 HOURS INTO OUR VACATION WHEN THE GOODYEAR MARATHON 235/80/16 ON OUR 2011 MONTANA 5TH WHEEL BLEW. THE DAMAGE WAS CLOSE TO $2000, MESSED UP THE TIRE WELL, RIPPED THE BELLYPAN AND MESSED UP THE SLIDE OUT. GOODYEAR WILL PAY OUR DEDUCTIBLE, BUT WON'T HELP WITH REPLACEMENT OF THE REST OF THE CHINA BOMBS UNDER OUR CAMPER. VERY UNHAPPY WITH GOODYEAR AND MONTANA. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 KEYSTONE MONTANA FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER WITH GOOD YEAR MARATHON TIRES, SIZE: T235/80 R16. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ALTHOUGH HE HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE WITH THE TIRES, THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED BECAUSE OF THE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ONLINE REGARDING THE SPECIFIC TIRE. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT WOULD BE DONE TO CORRECT THE TIRES ALTHOUGH, THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE DRIVEN UNDER 65 MPH TO ENSURE THAT THERE WERE NO FAILURES. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
