What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2001 Keystone Springdale, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

A FEW DAYS AGO I GOT A CALL FROM THE RV PARK WHERE MY UNIT IS PARKED, AND WAS TOLD MY UNIT HAS BURNT TO THE GROUND. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH I FOUND THE WEB SITE SHOWING VARIOUS RECALLS RELATING TO DOMETIC REFRIGERATORS. I COULD NOT LOCATE THE TAGS SHOWING THE MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER TO SEE IF THIS FIRE COULD BE RELATED TO THE RECALLS. I CALLED THE KEYSTONE MANUFACTURE AND THEY VERIFIED MY UNIT SERIAL NUMBER FELL UNDER THE RECALL. THE FIRE CHIEF INVESTIGATING THE FIRE STATED THIS WAS A STANDARD RV FIRE ORIGINATING IN THE REFRIGERATOR AREA (REPORT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN A FEW DAYS). *TR
