TAKATA RECALL; MAY 23, 2016; GZG, 16V340. FRONT SEAT PASSENGER. I CANNOT PUT ANYONE IN THE FRONT SEAT. LEXUS WILL NOT FIX OR BUY THE CAR BACK, BUT CARMAX WILL. I SELDOM DRIVE...NOT HAPPY. MY CAR WAS HIT PARKED AND THE BAG DID NOT GO OFF. THE CAR WAS REPAIRED BY PROGRESSIVE BUT I CANNOT BE SURE I THEY CHECKED ITS SECURITY OF THE BAG. DON'T FEEL SAFE IN THE CAR AT ALL. TCC CAMPUS, ARLINGTON, TX. I WAS VOTING. IT WAS A TRUCK. AND BI-STANDERS GOT HER INFO. SHE TRIED TO HIT AND RUN

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 LEXUS GS 350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS MELTING AND CAUSED A GLARE, WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE OUT OF THE WINDSHIELD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (LEXUS OF PALM BEACH IN WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING A CALL BACK. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
