THERE WERE TWO INCIDENTS SO FAR. APPROXIMATELY 3 YEARS AGO AND 6 YEARS AGO. MY CAR CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. THE FIRE ORIGINATED IN THE SAME AREA OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT BOTH TIMES... POSSIBLE THE SPEED CONTROL? (WHICH HAS BEEN RECALLED ON MOST OTHER FORD AND LINCOLN PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED IN THE SAME TIME PERIOD). *TR
I OWN A 1992 LINCOLN MARK VII LSC. I HAVE 86,000 ORIGINAL MILES. THE CAR IS VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF. I HAVE PUT LOTS OF MONEY INTO EXHAUST SYSTEM, AND ALSO THE BRAKES. THE SUNROOF IS STARTING TO LEAK, THE FACTORY STEREO SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING. RECENTLY 8-8-2003 MY ABS BRAKES HAVE FAILED. WITHIN THE LAST YEAR ALL OF THE PAINT IS STARTING TO PEEL OFF THE CAR. THIS INCLUDES THE ROOF, TRUNK, LEFT FENDER, RIGHT FENDER, BASICALLY THE WHOLE CAR. THE ELECTRIC WINDOW ON THE DRIVERS SIDE NO LONGER WORKS. IS THERE ANY HELP OUT THERE TO GET A RESPONSE THANK YOU BRIAN
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A VERY SERIOUS CRASH, VEHICLE WENT INTO A DITCH WHILE TRAVELING ABOUT 60 MPH. HIT A DRIVEWAY, WENT AIR BORNE AND LANDED INTO A DITCH. UPON IMPACT, THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TOTALED. DRIVER RECEIVED INTERNAL INJURIES TO HER CHEST. *AK
