LED HEADLIGHT DO NOT GENERATE ENOUGH HEAT TO MELT ANY SNOW. A HALF AN HOUR DRIVING TIME IN STEADY SNOW RESULTS IN THE LIGHTS BEING TOTALLY COVERED BY SNOW AND COMPLETELY USELESS FOR ILLUMINATION AFTER DARK. STOPPING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO CLEAN OFF THE LIGHTS EVERY 15MINUTES IS NOT A REASONABLY SAFE ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM. LENSES MUST BE HEATED.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
