THE DIGITAL DASH, EVEN AT THE DIMMEST SETTING, IS SO BRIGHT IT IMPAIRS NIGHT VISION AND MAKES NIGHT DRIVING DANGEROUS. A FREIGHTLINER REPRESENTATIVE I SPOKE TO SAID THAT THIS IS A COMMON COMPLAINT AND MOST DRIVERS JUST PUT A RAG OVER IT AT NIGHT.

THE FREIGHTLINER CHASSIS IN MY MOTORHOME INCLUDES A DIGITAL INSTRUMENT PANEL. AT NIGHT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WILL NOT DIM ENOUGH, CAUSING GLARE AND MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SEE OUT OF THE WINDSHIELD. I BELIVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED.

Some coaches equipped with both the SilverLeaf system and a TRC transfer switch (model 40350RVC-40350RVC3) may receive a warning on the SilverLeaf touchscreen that reads âtransfer switch 0-0 failure unknown.â This is a false warning caused by the TRC transfer switch program code.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
