2017 Polaris Rzr Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Fire reported

While riding my RZR, with my son. my drive belt broke, when I walked up a rise in the road to see if my son was coming back, I turned and my RZR was on fire. Polaris will take no responsibility for a defective product and I was lucky no one was seriously injured and no other property was damaged. I talked to Polaris since my RZR was the same model number as the recalled models, but they said the VIN wasn't included. Polaris said there were no changes made between my VIN and the recalled models. I believe these should be included because there are factory defects that could severely injured and kill!

THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY HAZARD SINCE HERE IN ARIZONA THEY ARE ON THE HIGHWAY AND WHEN STALLED WE ALMOST HAD SOMEONE KILLED. WE HAVE AT LEAST 3 THAT ARE DOING THIS AND AFTER REPLACING ALMOST EVERYTHING THEY STILL DO IT WITH NO AVENUE FOR HELP WE ARE TURNING TO YOU. THE VEHICLES STALL WHEN ON THE CITY AND STATE HIGHWAYS. SOME ONE OR MULTIPLE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE KILLED FROM THIS AND THE COMPANY DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
