2026 RAM 1500 Driver assistance Problems

My tailgate wont open at all ! I tried the button in the overhead console ,the key fob and manually! Nothing works and I can't get a dealership to get me a loaner to look at it because I can't be with out transportation! It's a little frustrating I have a new truck that was less then 1month old at the time. Not to mention the other electrical issues like (system keep unpairing my phone),my airbag RH rear canister makes a loud bursting noise or the light indicator in the mirror come on and system is froze until I turn the truck off and back on. I'm hoping you will be able to help with the issues I've mention!

Fall of 2025. After braking in a round a bout vehicle would not drive. I had enough forward momentum to get through the round a bout and pull over. Once stopped I shut off truck and restarted it. The transmission worked after restarting. Took truck to dealer but they could not determine any problems. August 2026 same issue occurred in another round a bout. I was able to limp to a side street and shut down and restart truck. Worked fine after restart.

Emergency brake comes on during car wash and engine turns off. Car crashed into the back of the truck on 7-7-26 causing damage to the front of their vehicle. Truck was evaluated by dealership who "reset the electronics" but it continues after this service.

Vehicle auto braking inoperative, lane detection not working, main screen goes completely black. Vehicle went into limp mode while entering the freeway . Main dash flagged yellow, and highlighted check engine, service electric stability control, airbags service, 4 x 4 unavailable, service electronic stability control.

Parking sensors and forward sensors used for adaptive cruise control will identify objects that are not there and the car will break. Car with shut off while driving (not the normal engine cutoff with restart) and shift to park suddenly. Backup camera is blanked out and rear sensor will not work. Towing mode with initiate on its own with not trailer hooked up while driving. False low oil lights and no tire pressure sensor connections. The truck has stalled several times while pulling into cross traffic nearly causing accidents 2x Display screen/speedometer will just black out while driving.

The vehicle, while being in ACC, does not recognize a vehicle in front of you. The car will accelerate/drive into the vehicle in front and not brake. The display in the instrument shows driver overwrite, which is incorrect since my foot is resting on the floor mat. Dealer is trying to fix is but so far was unsucessful. Car is dangerous to drive with that behavior.

I purchased a new Ram RHO Dec 31 2025, on Saturday, January 17th 2026 1:03 AM, I received an email, a triggered alert 1) Driver Assistance Blind Spot Monitoring System Triggered Allert, Schedule your Service Appointment. I made an appointment for a shake in wheels and blind spot monitoring I brought it to Joey Accardi Ram Pompano Beach Fl, I picked up the truck with the same issue. I called Rick the service advisor and explained to him, still not right, and expressed a concern that the mechanic must have driven my truck hard, because everything was all over the place in bed of pick up. Rick assured me they don't let those specialty vehicles out for test drive; they don’t go out on the road. On several occasions, when placing the truck in reverse, I get a blue screen when I should get camera feed from the rear camera. I have owned the truck 2 months and this has happened 3 times. While I showed the dealership a photo of the problem, they have been unable to replicate and it there has been nothing done to address this safety issue.

The back up camera display intermittently shows a blank blue display instead of the camera image while the vehicle is in reverse. This has occurred 4 times over 5 months of ownership of this brand new vehicle. The issue is usually resolved after a complete power cycle of the vehicle. The rear visibility of the vehicle is poor without the added benefit of the back up camera. The problem has not yet been brought to the attention of the dealership as it is very intermittent and has not been inspected by anyone but myself. There are no warning indicators.
