The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
The risk: An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 67D. The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The headlight wiring may cause the parking lights and daytime running lights to flicker on and off, or fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The risk: Parking lights and daytime running lights that fail to illuminate properly reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the headlight assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed July, 30, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 62D. The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards numbers 102, "Transmission Shift Position Sequence," 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems," 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment," 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems for Light Vehicles," 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems," 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System," and/or 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
The risk: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as gear selection and warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the instrument panel software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 5, 2026. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Windshield wipers turned on by themselves and will not turn off, odometer is flashing, service airbag message on dash and airbag warning light flashing on dash and blinkers do not work. Stellantis cannot fix the problem and refuse to take truck back. Truck only has 3100 miles on it. Truck has been at Charlevoix Auto Ram Dealership Service since June 1, 2026. Multiple cases have been opened with auto manufacturer by dealership and us, the owner. Auto manufacturer will not buy back vehicle and put us new vehicle. We hadn't had vehicle for 3 months when this happened.

Multiple occurrences of center stack display freezing and then going black. Which made the backup camera display unable to be used. Screen stayed black for entire drive and did not reset until multiple restarts of vehicle.

My 2026 Ram 1500 Bighorn Crew Cab After vehicle startup, approximately five seconds, after initiating forward,, the vehicle experience and abrupt engine shut down while in motion. Concurrently the vehicles, electronic parking brake forcefully self engages without driver command due to an automated safety conflict. This severe powertrain, and electrical failure completely strands the vehicle and active traffic, presenting an immediate life-threatening risk of a rear-end collision. This exact failure mode has occurred a total of five separate times, and the authorized dealership is currently attempting a software remedy under an escalated Corporate stare case.

Parking sensors and forward sensors used for adaptive cruise control will identify objects that are not there and the car will break. Car with shut off while driving (not the normal engine cutoff with restart) and shift to park suddenly. Backup camera is blanked out and rear sensor will not work. Towing mode with initiate on its own with not trailer hooked up while driving. False low oil lights and no tire pressure sensor connections. The truck has stalled several times while pulling into cross traffic nearly causing accidents 2x Display screen/speedometer will just black out while driving.

This bulletin involves inspecting and possibly reprogramming the ESM with the latest available software.

MODULE Air Bag Control Please ensure vehicle voltage is within specified limits. Most faults will store after an ignition cycle if the vehicle voltage is within specified limits. Check TERMINAL RETENTION ON CONNECTOR C1 PIN 11, CIRCUT D 282 CAN FD+_2 and repair any loose connection. For Loss OF Communication faults, please follow the diagnostic service routine in Service Library and confirm these steps before ORC replacement. Reference Service Library Section 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics / MODULE, Body Control (BCM) / Diagnosis and Testing / U0151-00-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH RESTRAINTS CONTROL MODULE. The Standard Procedure / COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE must be performed before replacing any component(s) or module(s). AT A MINIMUM THESE PROCEEDURES MUST BE CHECKED: 1). (Refer to 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Body Control (BCM) / Standard Procedure). 2). COMMUNICATIONS DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE - LOSS OF COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE If the vehicle has ORC fault B2207 - Occupant Restraint Controller Internal 1 either active or stored, please check for 3rd party (non-Mopar) installed "Pulse" unit at the CHMSL & Cargo Lamp wires. Please take the Service action to check & remove Pulse unit (or other 3rd party brands) spliced in circuit# L56, L14, L51, and/or ground Z946 for the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) and Cargo Lamps. Please correct the wiring to original OEM standard and replace the ORC module. Please document the "Pulse" unit (and/or other device names for the same function) in the service repair history. The "Pulse" unit (or other brand names) is a 3rd party, non-MOPAR circuit that when spliced into the CHIMSL circuit, can make the CHIMSL blink 3 times before becoming solid on upon activation of the brake switch. Please do not submit warranty claim when the Internal-1 DTC is confirmed to be caused by the "Pulse" or similar unit.

ENGINE

PUMP, Auxiliary Coolant Before replacing the Auxiliary Coolant Pump, please perform the following steps: 1) Key ON/OFF and let the after-run pump run for at least 20 minutes before moving on to step #2. 2) Inspect the pump connector area for presence of water. 3) Inspect the pump connector for corrosion. 4) Inspect the pump for coolant contamination as this can cause the pump to stall. 5) Inspect battery terminals for damage to rule out a battery drainage issue. 6) Ensure the PCM is up-to-date with the latest available flash. If correct repair is not performed then the claim or condition will be recovered by Warranty Operations.
