What this recall covers

NHTSA's campaign record, quoted as published

The defect

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2023 View and Navion recreational vehicles. The rear roof cap aerofence trim may become loose and detach during transit.

The risk

A detached roof cap can become a road hazard for other vehicles and increase the risk of a crash.

The remedy

Dealers will inspect and install fasteners and rivets to the brackets as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 17, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 202.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
