What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2012 Roadtrek 21PC, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

From owner reports, verbatim
IN SEPT. 2015 AT AN ODOMETER READING OF 25,000 MILES THE LEFT REAR FACTORY SUPPLIED ALUMINUM WHEEL(CHINESE MANUFACTURED) CRACKED AT THE BASE OF A SPOKE CAUSING A PRECIPITOUS LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE. IN SEPT. 2016 AT 32,000 MILES A SECOND FACTORY SUPPLIED ALUMINUM WHEEL CRACKED AT THE BASE OF A SPOKE, ONCE AGAIN CAUSING A PRECIPITOUS LOSS OF TIRE AIR PRESSURE. IN BOTH CASES THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN AT A HIGHWAY SPEED OF 60 MPH. THE FAILURES NECESSITATED REPLACEMENT OF THE WHEELS. IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE FAILURES ARE REFLECTIVE OF A MANUFACTURING DEFECT WHICH MAY HAVE AFFECTED OTHER USERS BUT HAS GONE UNREPORTED. NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER OF THE VEHICLE OR THE MANUFACTURER OF THE WHEEL ACKNOWLEDGED EVIDENCE THAT THE BREAKAGE HAS BEEN A REOCCURRING PROBLEM. OWNER HAS BEEN FORCED TO REPLACE ALL FACTORY SUPPLIED ALUMINUM WHEELS AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION. PHOTOGRAPHIC AND DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE OF THE INCIDENTS HAVE BEEN RETAINED.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
