TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 STEALTH GOOSENECK. WHILE DRIVING AT 50 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE BRAKES WERE NOT FUNCTIONING. THE CONTACT TURNED THE VEHICLE AROUND AND DROVE HOME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE BRAKES BEING REPLACED OFTEN WAS A REGULAR OCCURRENCE WITH THIS MODEL VEHICLE. IT WAS UNKNOWN IF A DEALER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 700. THE CONSUMER STATED AFTER TAPPING AND DRILLING A HOLE FOR GROUND WIRE AND CONNECTED IT, THE BRAKES BEGAN TO WORK AS DESIGNED. THE TRAILER'S GROUNDING SCHEME HAS THE POTENTIAL TO ALLOW THE GROUND TO FLOAT RELATIVE TO THE TRAILER FRAME AND MAY NOT BE MAKING CONTACT.*JS
