The defect: Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2019-2026 General 65, General 80, General 95, C4000, C5000, and C6000 digger utility trucks equipped with pole guides. An insufficient weld on the plate weldment may crack, causing the retaining pin to separate.
The risk: Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck.
The remedy: Owners will inspect the plate weldment for any cracks or abnormal welds. Dealers or owners will replace the plate weldment as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN737.

The defect: Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 C4000, C5000, C6000, C7000, General, and Trans TL vehicles. A seam in the boom structure may have been improperly welded, causing the weld to crack.
The risk: A cracked weld may lead to the boom failing, increasing the risk of an injury.
The remedy: Dealers will replace or repair the boom, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 8, 2023. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN715.
