Back seatbelts will not fasten never have since I bought the car… Right side bumper is missing the screws like the ones that’s on recalls for the Highlander… Almost every Toyota Camry I see has that problem and it will cause a hazard if comes off.
The contact owns a 2014 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated while the passenger’s side front seat was occupied. Additionally, the contact stated that the seat belts chime reminder would not engage as needed, and the seat belt warning light would illuminate while the seat belts were securely buckled. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 172,000.
REAR PASSENGER SEATBELT WILL NOT LATCH. DAUGHTER MOVED TO REAR DRI VER SIDE FOR CRASH PROTECTION. I INSPECTED THE PROBLEM ON NOVEMBER 30, 2019 AND DETERMINED THAT THE RECEIVER LOCK WAS NOT CATCHING/HOLDING ON TO THE SHOULDER STRAP BUCKLE.
MY SEATBELT WILL NOT STAY IN THE SLOT AFTER I BUCKLE IT. IT CLICKS, THE LIGHT GOES OUT AND THEN IT STARTS SLIDING OUT, AND THE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE BEEPING STARTS. I HAVE TO HOOK IT IN THE SLOT FOR THE PASSENGER SEATBELT TO GET IT TO STAY. THIS IS WHILE I AM DRIVING. IT WON'T STAY WHEN NOT DRIVING. I AM HAVING TO PAY $162 TO HAVE WHAT SHOULD BE AN UNBREAKABLE PART REPLACED AND I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS IS HAPPENING A LOT. I OWN TWO OLDER CARS, A 97 LINCOLN AND A 90 MIATA AND THOSE SEATBELTS WORK FINE.
DRIVER AIRBAG DID NOT WORK IN FRONT END AND DRIVER SIDE COLLISION.
DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT WILL NOT BUCKLE AND HOLD IN THE RECEIVER ON THE SEAT. THE TECH AT THE DEALER GOT THE BUCKLE TO TOLD BY ENGAGING IT INTO RECEIVER WHILE HOLDING DOWN DISCONNECT BUTTON. WE WERE TOLD NO RECALL AND WE MUST PAY FOR REPAIR.

I BOUGHT THIS CAR TOYOTA CAMRY ON JAN.13,2014 BRAND NEW FROM KOON TOYOTA LEES BURG PIKE,VA..TO DAY APRIL.23,2014 AT 10.21 AM MORNING. I WAS TRYING TO PARK MY CAR LOT OF SENIOR CENTER,I DID NOT ACCELERATE THE CAR .THE CAR ACCELERATED UN INTENDED CAR BECOME OUT OFF CONTROL,SPEED BECOME VERY HIGH AND CRUSH INTO CURB WITH HIGH SPEED AND HIT THE LAMP POST AND ANOTHER PARK CAR, I HAVE PASSENGER MY WIFE HER FACE HIT DESH BOARD AND HER KNEE. I CONCERN ABOUT THAT UN INTENDED ACCELERATED,AND NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED? AND PASSENGER SIDE SAFETY BELT DOES NOT WORK AS SHE HAVE BELTS ON. TOYOTA COMPANY SHOULD CHECK SAFETY CONCERN.
