STEERING
The purpose of this service bulletin is to inform you that VDL Van Hool has gradually switched over to other components for the front axle steering system. This switch-over has been cut into production as from units 83097 (CX35) and 84560 (CX45). Previous references may be used further, but for future orders only the new components will be supplied.
SUSPENSION
The control arms of the front and trailing axles are equipped with a flexible ball-joint at the chassis side. Van Hool has several suppliers for the repair kit of this flexible ball-joint. All of the repair kits contain a flexible ball-joint, a spacer and a snap ring. Due to not equal thickness of the spacer in the different kits, it is important to install all three the kit parts when replacing a flexible ball-joint. Do not mix parts of different repair kits!
SUSPENSION
Mobile column lifts raise the vehicle under the wheels. This service bulletin is a reminder about the usage of mobile column lifts when lifting a complete vehicle.
SERVICE BRAKES; SUSPENSION
INTRODUCTION The purpose of this service bulletin is to inform you about the removal and installation of Raufoss line fittings
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
