The anti-lock brake module has been failing on hundreds of 2020 GTS300s. When it fails, the brake lever is locked or hard to pull, leading to the inability to brake. Vespa not only does not acknowledge this, the part is $1400 plus labor to repair.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT
New map for updating engine control unit Please note that a new engine control unit map for the aforementioned model is now available for downloading with the P.A.D.S. diagnostic tool (which must be updated to the most recent version available). The aforementioned operation is considered part of the normal scheduled maintenance required for the vehicle, and must be performed at the same time as other scheduled maintenance operations either during the pre-delivery procedure, for new vehicles, or at the first available opportunity when the vehicle is brought to the service center, in the case of vehicles that have already been sold and are in use. The new software introduces the following functional improvement: Resolves issue of failed communication on CAN line. After installing the new map, no further operations are necessary.

New video tutorials - Brake system replacement and bleeding. We hereby inform you that a series of video tutorials are available on the Service Portal in the Video Box section, relating to the replacement of the brake system lines for the vehicles in question. The videos are intended to aid the workshop operations, reproposing operations in an intuitive and easily usable form to supplement those described in the Service Station Manual.
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:OIL/LUBRICATION:PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Dear Dealer/Service Center, We hereby inform you that in order to solve any problems with irregular engine operation, or starting difficulties with engine hot on the Vespa GTS 300 hpe models, proceed according to the procedure described below. INTRODUCTION The better combustion efficiency of the hot engine, in combination with the foreseen ignition advance, entails the achievement of high pressure in the combustion chamber before the TDC The failure or difficulty starting the hot engine is actually generated by excessive pressure at the end of compression .
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
The new dashboard software for 2020 Vespa Supertech 300 HPE introduces the following improvements: ï· Improved display of the average fuel consumption. ï· Check of the immobilizer indicator light on the instrument cluster during the key ON phase before starting eliminated. ï· Pop up signalling the absence of fuel inserted. ï· Service maintenance intervals signal modified (every 10,000 km). ï· The displayed value of the full tank has been improved.
