TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1998 VOLVO V70. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SIDEWALL ON ONE OF HIS SUMITOMO TIRES COMPLETELY FAILED WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH. THE CONTACT WAS UNSURE OF THE DOT NUMBER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 124,000. THE TIRE INFORMATION WAS UNAVAILABLE.
