THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." CAR-1992 ACURA LEDGEND UNCONTROLLED ACCELERATION. WHILE DRIVING THE GAS PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND HELD AT THAT POSITION. THE CAR HAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION SO I RELEACED THE CLUTCH AND SENT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. THE GAS PEDAL DID NOT RETURN TO THE UP POSSISSION EVEN WITH THE CAR OFF.. I STARTED THE CAR BUT THE GAS PEDAL REMAINED DOWN AND THE ENGINE RACED. I IMMEADIANTLY TURNEDTHE CAR OFF. AGAIN I TRYED BT THE SAME THING HAPPENED. I TURNED THE CAR OFF IMMEDIANTLY AND THEN THE GAS PEDDLE RETURNED TO NOMAL. THIS HAPPENED THE PREVIOUS DAY WHEN I STARTED THE CAR BUT I THOUGHT I WAS ONLY JUST PRIOR TO THIS I HAD PROBLEM I HAD CLEANED THE BATTERY TEMINALS OTHERWISE THE CAR HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS.

This SKU is a Front Upper Ball Joint. The customer communication requested return of unsold inventory to inspect for the outer diameter of the ball joint housing being too small. The outer diameter being too small would prevent the part from being installed, and would therefore have no impact on the end user besides time to complete installation.
