2014 Chevrolet Suburban Body & structure Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the body or structure system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Body & structure reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

There is a technical service bulletin published (15-NA-082) that is the result of insufficient welds between the bracket and frame rail that hold the sway bar on the models listed in the TSB. Recently while on a road trip we experienced heavy (almost uncontrollable) truck swaying while on the high way. I now have to find someone with welding experience in order to fix this problem because I am concerned about the safety of my family driving this vehicle with this condition. Please consider a recall for this condition.

DASHBOARD IS CRACKING AND NON-REPAIRABLE. MY RESEARCH FINDS THAT THIS ISSUE HAS HAPPENED TO A VAST NUMBER OF 2007-2014 GM VEHICLES, THAT DEALERSHIPS AND GM ARE REFUSING TO FIX THE DASHBOARDS, AND THAT THE DASHBOARDS CONTINUE TO BREAK DOWN, CREATING MORE POTENTIAL FOR HAZARD.
