2023 Dynamax Isata

Exterior RV retractable awning (model = Latitude) manufactured by Carefree of Colorado and installed by Dynamax Corporation on the Isata 3 models. Several RV owners are reporting that the awning pitch adjustment locking screws are missing on their Isata 3 vehicles. These pitch adjustment screws are "pitch locking" screws, yet neither Dynamax Corporation (responsible production and installation of Carefree Awning installation) nor Carefree https://www.carefreeofcolorado.com/ have addressed this HIGHWAY SAFETY issue! It is not rocket science that an RV manufacturer should consider this EXTERNAL RV component missing part a HIGHWAY SAFETY concern! This was discovered by checking our Isata 3 after reading other owner's posts on a Facebook Owners Group for Dynamax Isata 3.

This is a product service bulletin from Global Link concerning counterfeit keys for entry doors being sold on certain websites. Forest River is reporting as we are sharing with the dealer body.

This TSB will supersede the 551793. This TSB now involved additional vehicles with a V6 engine, according to the TSB from Xantrex. According to Xantrex TSB 2024-01: "On the affected Dynamax 4 and 6-cylinder vehicles, the functionality of the OEM Daimler Sprinter electrical system may be disrupted by the Xantrex eGEN system, causing the check engine light or fault codes to be displayed (both temporary and permanent)."

The routing of the main wiring harness might contact the drive shaft and chafe, which could result in a short circuit, loss of drive power, power steering, and brake control system. A short circuit increases the risk of a fire, and a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control increases the risk of a crash. This is in reference to Mercedes-Benz Recall Campaign 24V166.

The manufacturing plant would like to install an additional bypass on the recirculation line for the AquaGo Comfort Plus system.

Per FCA Recall 23V799: "The Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) on your vehicle Ill may have a tum signal self-canceling anti-jam component out of specification, an internal short circuit on the SCCM printed circuit board (PCB), and/or a tum signal lever debouncing time limit which is too short. The SCCM in the suspect vehicles may cause the high beams to activate when using the tum signal, the turn signal to activate when using the high beams, and/or an inadvertent tum signal activation. A tum signal which remains active after a completed tum may cause surrounding drivers to misunderstand the intent to change vehicle direction. High beam activation when the tum signal switch is activated may result in reduced visibility of oncoming drivers. An inadvertent tum signal activation may cause surrounding drivers to misunderstand the intent to change vehicle direction. Any of these conditions may cause a vehicle crash without prior warning.

According to a Furrion TSB "TB-220919": Irregular cooling performance has been reported on the identified refrigerators. The refrigerator compressor has been found to stop working and requires a “hard reset” by disconnecting power to reset cooling operation. On occasion, disconnecting power does not reset operation and the refrigerator requires service replacement of the control boards. This TSB may not be applicable for some vehicles.
