2020 Ford F-350 Sd Body & structure Problems

Box Separation from the box side to the box rear. box integrity compromised. Truck has always been used under the capacity ratings. I have 2 ford doing the same thing.

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-350. The contact stated that the grill, 350 emblem, and driver’s side mirror had melted. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 200.

Truck's power door lock actuators are failing and fail to unlock the doors via remote or the interior door(s) electric unlock button(s). The only way to open the door is via exterior key (if you happen to have it accessible) or if you pull the vehicle's interior door handle, which then "pops" the door lock button. This failure is alarming as in the event of an emergency, access to the interior cab of the vehicle can not be gained from the exterior without a key. Similarly, access to the interior of the cab can only be provided when one squeezes, or pulls, the vehicle's interior door handle. If a driver/passenger is incapacitated for some emergent reason, there is no easy way to gain rapid access to the passenger compartment without extrication type equipment. From my on-line research it appears that Ford has had previous problems with this and actually acknowledge this through Ford Customer Satisfaction Program(s) 20M04, 19N06, 18N03. Appreciate any assistance and insight you may be able to provide.

On 7/17/2022, while driving, the tailgate unexpectedly released. The tailgate was damaged by the trailer that was being towed at the time. The tailgate was damaged by the trailer tongue jack. The tailgate was confirmed closed prior to driving. No warning messages were displayed from the vehicle. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the dealer but I have an appointment on 7/27. Ford Customer Service was contacted, case #CAS-37657604 was provided. Prior to the incident there had been several occasions where the vehicle would display a warning that the tailgate was open but inspection confirmed it was secured.

My tailgate has opened on its own three times or more since purchasing the truck new in June 2021. Few times while parked and locked in my drive way. Once while I was driving causing me to have to pull over on a busy highway to re-latch the tailgate to not lose my cargo in the bed which then could have came flying out and hit other motorists and/or caused an accident in which I would have been liable. I was not included in the recall 19V-864; and therefore my vehicle has not been serviced for this issue.

BROUGHT A NEW FORD SUPER DUTY F-350 DUALLY ON NOVEMBER 5,2020. ON NOVEMBER 6 2020, THE PASSENGER DOOR CAUGHT BEHIND THE FRONT FENDER, CAUSING THE PASSENGER TO NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN DOOR. WHEN WE GOT DOOR OPEN , NOTICE THAT THE PASSENGER DOOR WAS OUT OF LINE AND HAD DROPPED DOWN. THE FRONT FENDER WAS OUT OF LINE WITH THE DOOR AND HOOD. WHEN DOOR STUCK IT CAUSED A DENT IN DOOR AND FENDER ALSO CHIPPED PAINT OFF. THE ISSUE IS IF PASSENGER HAD TO EXIT DOOR IN EMERGENCY WITHOUT A LOT OF FORCE IT MAY NOT OPEN PROPERLY OR FAST ENOUGH BECAUSE OF BODY PARTS WAY OUT OF LINE. IF A PERSON WAS TRYING TO OPEN DOOR FROM OUTSIDE AND IT HUNG IT COULD CAUSE THAT PERSON TO LOOSE GRIP OF DOOR SUDDENLY AND MAKE THEM FALL TO GROUND CAUSING INJURIES TO THEM. TRUCK WAS NOT IN MOTION WHEN THIS OCCURRED AND PARKED IN GRAVEL DRIVEWAY.
