While traveling with my fifth-wheel camper attached, my 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty (6.7L Power Stroke) suddenly developed a complete no-crank condition. Prior to the failure, the vehicle displayed multiple electrical warnings, including U0100 (Lost Communication with PCM), High Engine Temperature, AdvanceTrac, Blind Spot System Fault, Hill Start Assist, and Pre-Collision Assist warnings. The vehicle ultimately became disabled and would not crank or start, leaving me stranded away from home while towing a trailer. Repair Description After troubleshooting the vehicle, I discovered severe internal corrosion inside the under-hood Battery Junction Box (BJB). The corrosion appeared consistent with Ford Technical Service Bulletin 23-2133 regarding moisture intrusion into the Battery Junction Box on certain 2020–2022 Super Duty trucks. I purchased a genuine Ford replacement Battery Junction Box from a Ford dealership and installed it. Immediately after replacement, the vehicle started normally and all warning messages disappeared. I retained the failed Battery Junction Box and have photographs documenting the internal corrosion. Safety Concern My concern is not simply the repair cost but the safety implications of this failure. The vehicle became completely disabled while towing a fifth-wheel trailer during travel. A sudden electrical failure affecting the Battery Junction Box can leave occupants stranded and may create hazardous situations if it occurs in remote locations or during travel. Because Ford has issued a Technical Service Bulletin addressing moisture intrusion into the Battery Junction Box, I believe this condition should be evaluated to determine whether additional action is warranted.

Charging System Fault. Caused multiple error messages like Forward camera not available, collision avoidance not available. Then Radio goes black and reboots. Several cycles later the dash board goes DARK. No speed or RPM anything visible for 5-10 secs, and on some reboots this Dark dash lasted 30 seconds. Thankfully while traveling at midnight the head lights and tail lights remain on, just no interior lights during these Reboots. New batteries made no difference.

The right rear corner parking sensor on the truck has a 3 foot range. I believe these rear back up sensors normally should have a 12-15 foot range. I was backing up at an angle at slow speeds at hit a large brick mailbox. The mailbox is below the height of the closed tailgate. This could have been a adult or child. The sensor triggered but I did not stop in time. At 5mph a 3 foot distance is covered in .4 seconds. I replaced the bumper and the bumper cover as a result of this .

This is not a failed component, the issue is a design interaction issue. This truck when it gets stuck as it unfortunately very easily does even on wet grass goes into a traction control mode where the throttle is VERY damped but the issue is not only is the opening very dampened the closing is also VERY damped. This is made significantly worse by the fact that traction control cannot actually be disabled. There is a switch and it indicates it is disabled but the functionality remains the same. This combination means whenever you're working to get the truck unstuck, like yesterday when it was on wet grass you have to expect that the vehicle will suddenly accelerate as soon as it finds traction. normally you can counteract this by expecting to apply significant brakes as soon as it finds traction but if the front wheels are still on a slippery surface the ABS system will lose it's mind and essentially disable brakes as the vehicle accelerates violently backwards with the new found traction. This combination of software decisions makes it so you can very easily replicate an unintended acceleration scenario where the vehicle jumps back a solid 20' when this happens, not respecting any brake input given by the driver and certainly not respecting that the throttle was released long ago. The throttle closing should not be damped when traction control is running and the ABS system should not be behaving the way it does. I understand getting the vehicle unstuck from wet grass is not normal operation but that's what the traction control disable button should be for and Ford makes that button useless also. When taken together, all these engineering decisions make for a very unsafe situation that has zero reason to exist. I've attached pictures that show the overview of the situation as well as the characteristic ABS marks showing that it was disabling brakes.

The fan clutch assembly failed and as a result the drive mode would not change from tow/haul mode to any of the other 4 drive modes. Accelerations and decelerations were negatively affected as a result creating safety hazards when driving. The engine was always responding as if a trailer were attached and subsequently accelerations were difficult and decelerations consistently utilized the trailer engine braking system, similar to semi-trucks utilizing the Jake-Braking systems, This is a significant safety issue and needs to have a recall issued for the replacement of these fan clutch assemblies.

my back rear view camera quit working immediately about 4 or 4 weeks ago. I tried to see if I had a loose wire but. One seemed loose or broken. I only have a blue screen. My rear facing camera over the cab stop light works fine if the switch is pushed. Now I have noticed there are thousands of Ford vehicles already recalled for rear camera issues. However when I called my dealership I was told I’m not on the recall list. As far as I can tell it’s because my Ford F350 is a 2022 built in July of 2021. I hate to say it but I believe the recall needs to be expanded. As I’m sure there are a whole lot more vehicles with this rear camera issues. Please take this case into consideration and hopefully get it included in the recall.

I was driving on [XXX] in St Louis County Missouri during rush hours traffic. I experienced a blow out on my drivers front tire. I was surrounded by lots of heavy traffic from passenger cars to tractor trailer going more than 60 mph. I slowly got to the right shoulder. Modot and the state highway patrol blocked the traffic away from us while AAA changed my tire. After I was ready to leave I noticed my traffic early collision warning, and other safety warning systems were not working now. I also noticed my rear view camera was not operating either. This was the first time I noticed any issue with my safety systems. I got. Ew tires and changed them all 6 out. Still my rear view camera is not operating. I did notice Ford was getting ready to put in a recall for rear view camera for F350’s from 2015 to 2025. I do have a 2022 so I feel I am in the recall. While driving with the cruise set I wanted to reduce speed and hit the minus speed button on the cruise control which caused the vehicle to speed up which made me hit it quickly a couple more times to slow it down and it responded by speeding up more and led me to slam on the brakes. Luckily no one was in front of me so I didn’t rear end them when it sped up and no one was behind me that could have rear ended me when I slammed on the brakes.

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who updated and replaced the Auxiliary Power Interface Module (APIM) several times. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. Additionally, the radio turned on without driver interaction. The contact stated that the Forward Collision Avoidance system and the mirrors were turning on and off, the crash alert was engaged, and the brake was applied without driver input. My 2022 Ford F 350 platinum truck came optioned from the factory with the Ford winch, and collision avoidance as well as adaptive cruise control. Ford has included the collision avoidance sensor in the bracket for the winch. Ford is aware that the bracket can be distorted by the winch which disables the collision avoidance, adapative cruise, and abnormal cruise creating a safety issue. Ford refuses to correct the issue

The contact stated that while driving approximately 75 MPH with the adaptive cruise control activated, while attempting to decrease the speed, the vehicle inadvertently accelerated to 80 MPH. The contact disengaged the adaptive cruise control however, several unknown warning lights illuminated and adaptive cruise control remained activated. The brake pedal was depressed and the adaptive cruise control disengaged. After restarting the vehicle, the adaptive cruise control performed as designed.
