2017 Ford Mustang Seat belts Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the seat belt system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Seat belts reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Recall performed and tech stated parts were bad and needed desperately and parts were ordered. I have a repair invoice to prove it in my vehicle history. I rescheduled appointment for recall completion and service manager was very rude and stated recall doesn’t even have parts out until 11/2026. When I questioned if recall was performed improperly per TSB she placed me on hold for a while and she said parts department doesn’t have parts for me /never ordered anything and I can’t get the recall done.

This Recall has been out for more than 6 months without remedy. Is there anyway to get this resolved soon? Why hasn't there been any solution placed within a timely matter? I want to make sure that I am safely secured in my seat. I want to be able to trust that the seatbelt used will save my life if need be.

While backing up my rear view camera finally went completely out. I have 3 recalls and it's been way over a year or better all I keep getting is notices that they don't have my parts. Over a year really. Can you help me get my car fixed? I have 4 small grandchildren age 1-9 which 2 of them I pick up daily. I want to make sure I do everything I can to keep them safe. If I was a year late on my car payment they would not wait. I think I have been more than patient.
