I received a letter in 2022 regarding an airbag defect in my 2014 GMC Acadia which stated that they would call me when it is my turn to replace it. They airbag light or notification did not appear until 2024 which I called GMC to report it and schedule an service appointment. I was told that there was "NO DEFECT OR RECALL FOR AIRBAGS IN MY MODEL CAR" even after I explained the letter. I was then told I would have to pay 350 for it to be diagnosed then an additional costs for servicing. We continued to drive it as we do not have other options in HI. The airbag service light reappeared on [XXX] for 2 days and we are concerned why, where, how and who will take our complaint/life seriously?
