Complaints grouped by the component NHTSA recorded
Percentages are of component mentions. A single complaint can name more than one component, so these do not sum to the total complaint count.
No recalls in our database for this model year
That does not guarantee a specific vehicle is unaffected — recalls are issued against VINs, and new campaigns are announced regularly. Check a VIN on NHTSA.gov.
NHTSA inquiries naming this vehicle. An investigation is not a finding of a defect.

I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE USED, SHORTLY AFTER THE TRANSMISSION STARTED SLIPPING. GOT RECALL INFORMATION, AND TOOK IT INTO 5 STAR DEALERSHIP. THEY VERIFIED THAT THE LOW AND REVERSE CLUTCH WERE WORN. BUT REFUSED TO REPLACE OR REMEDY THE SITUATION. THEY DID HOWEVER HONOR RECALL 99041 AND INSTALLED WIRING HARNESS FOR EBCM FOR ABS BRAKES. HOW IS ONE RECALL TOO OLD TO HONOR, YET ANOTHER IS NOT? THE TRANSMISSION RECALL WAS ISSUED IN 1994, MY JIMMY HAD BEEN IN THE SHOP PREVIOUSLY IN 1999. I WOULD THINK THAT THE RECALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THEN. *NM
MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK INTERMITTANTLY. SOMETIMES THEY DON'T WORK AND SOMETIMES THEY DO WORK.
WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR WORK INTERMITTENTLY, STOPPING AT ANY TIME DURING OPERATION HAMPERING VISIBILITY AND CREATING A MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM. *JB
CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE DRIVING AND NO WARNING THE WINDSHIELD WIPER WILL WORK INTERMITTENTLY AND IT WILL BE HARD FOR THE CONSUMER TO SEE DURING RAINY WEATHER. DEALER NOTIFIED. TS
BLISTERS HAVE DEVELOPED IN TREAD OF ALL FOUR KELLY, SPRINGFIELD TIRES, SIZE: LT235/85R16, DOT: UNKNOWN ON 1993, GMC 3/4 TON TRUCK. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 7000 MILES ON THE TIRES, AND THEY ARE NOT ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. *AK THE DEALER REPLACED THE TIRE WITH 235/85/16 AT NO CHARGE. *YH
THE WIND HIELD WIPERS FAIL TO WORK 99% OF THE TIME DUE TO A WIRING PROBLEM (IT APPEARS). YOU CAN GET UNDER THE HOOD AND TOUCH THE WIPER MOTOR AND WIRING A NUMBER OF PLACES AND THEY WILL WORK. SOMETIMES JUST TOUCHING THE WIRING JACK WILL DO THE SAME, YET WHEN YOU TURN LOOSE THEY WILL STOP. WHEN THEY DO WORK YOU MUST HAVE THEM ON HIGH, THEN A LOT OF THE TIME THEY WORK AS IF THEY ARE ON DELAY, OR THEY WILL NOT WORK AT ALL. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM, AND LET ME KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO CORRECT THIS. IT IS A SAFTY HAZARD NOT HAVING WIPERS WHEN IT'S RAINING/WHEN SOMEONE PASSES YOU AND HIT'S A WATER PUDDLE, AND IT SPLASHES ON YOUR WINDSHILED AND THEY WILL NOT WORK TO CLEAN IT OFF. *AK
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE IN THE RAIN THE WIPERS WILL STOP WORKING. DEALER TOLD CONSUMER THAT HE HAD A DEFECTIVE PLUS MODULE. *AK
REAR SUSPENSION NOISE.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
