The defect: CERTAIN E SPEED RACING COMBINATION LAMPS SOLD AS REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR USE ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. SOME COMBINATION LAMPS THAT ARE NOT EQUIPPED WITH AMBER SIDE REFLECTORS FAIL TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.
The risk: WITHOUT THE AMBER REFLECTORS, THE VEHICLE WILL BE POORLY ILLUMINATED, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.
The remedy: E SPEED RACING WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND OFFER TO REPURCHASE THE LAMPS. THE RECALL BEGAN MAY 10, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT E SPEED RACING 909-923-3636.

1999 GMC SONOMA TAILGATE CABLES BROKEN ,HAVE CONTACTED GM DEALER AND THEY ARE NOT ON THE RECALL. THERE ARE ALOT OF GM RECALLS ON THIS ISSUE ,BUT OUR TRUCK IS NOT ONE OF THE RECALLS . IT STOPS AT 2000.

1999 GMC PICKUP HAD A CRACK IN THE REAR FRAME. *TS THE FRAME WAS BROKEN JUST BEHIND THE REAR AXLE. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER WHO TOLD HIM TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER FOR A FACTORY REP TO INSPECT IT. THE REP INSPECTED THAT VEHICLE AND INDICATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WOULDN'T PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE BECAUSE THE FRAME IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE. *NM

ABS PUMP KEEPS RUNNING HAD TO REMOVE FUSE TO KEEP BATTERY FROM RUNNING DOWN I HAVE A 1999 GMC PICJUP TRUCK. REPAIR OF THIS PUMP IS $1000.00 MOST PEOPLE ARE PULLING THE FUSE AND RUNNING WITHOUT ABS BRAKES. BUT THE BRAKE LIGHT IS ON ALL THE TIME SO YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN YOUR BRAKES GIVE OUT. FROM THE RESOURCH I HAVE DONE THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY COMMON PROBLEM. I BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL TO FIX THE FAULTY PUMPS. THANK YOU

BRAKES MALFUNCTIONED ON VEHICLE WHEN APPLIED.*MR THE BRAKES FAILED AS THE DRIVER WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE. AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE HIT THE BUILDING CAUSING $2500 IN DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THE MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE CONTROL SENSORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE SENSORS WERE REPLACED BUT THE PROBLEM RECURRED. *NM

FOUR WHEEL DRIVE INOPERATIVE AND THE 4WD SERVICE LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE. DIAGNOSIS MAY REVEAL THAT THE ATC FUSE COULD BE OPEN, POSSIBLE DTC C0308, OR VARIOUS U CODES MAY BE SET. THE ENCODER MOTOR MAY ALSO BE SHORTED OR THE TCCM MAY BE DAMAGED. *TT
