THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V216000 (POWER TRAIN) AND STATED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE WITHIN A REASONABLE TIMEFRAME TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER DID NOT GIVE A SPECIFIC DATE FOR WHEN THE PART WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHTK (N/A). THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH THE VEHICLE WOULD WOBBLE, SHAKING THE CONTACT'S ARMS AND MAKING THE VEHICLE HARD TO CONTROL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DECIDED TO GREASE THE BARRING IN THE STEERING COLUMN IN ORDER TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE DEALER STATED THEY WOULD INSPECT THE VEHICLE IN 100 MILES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,400.

THE CONTACT USED THE FRONT BRAKES TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RELATED RECALLS. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 13,287.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 HARLEY DAVIDSON ELECTRA GLIDE. WHILE RIDING 45-50 MPH OVER A BUMP, THE GPS THAT WAS ATTACHED TO THE INNER FAIRING BECAME DETACHED. THE FAILURE DENTED THE FUEL TANK. THE PART NUMBER WAS 92100-05, WHICH CLIPPED ONTO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,500 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 15,000.

WHILE RIDING MOTORCYCLE BETWEEN 50-70 MPH MOTORCYCLE PULLED TO THE LEFT, AND HAD PULSATION. TOOK MOTORCYCLE TO DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED TORQUE WAS REDESIGNED BY MANUFACTURER AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACING OF PARTS DUE TO RIGHT/LEFT MOTION OF SWING ARM. *AK THE MECHANICS ARE UNABLE TO MAINTAIN THE ALIGNMENT OF THE MOTORCYCLE. PROBLEM SO SEVERE AT TIMES THE MOTORCYCLE VEERS SUDDENLY WITHOUTH OBVIOUS REASON TO THE LEFT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. REAR TIRE LOOSING AIR. THE CLUTCH WOULD CHATTER AS RELEASED AND IT ENTERED THE FRICTION ZONE. *TC
