The defect: KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Husqvarna FE 501S, Husqvarna FE 350S, 2024 GasGas ES 350, and GasGas ES 500 motorcycles. During backwards rolling, the brake caliper may crack near the primary pin casting, which may cause the caliper to break when riding.
The risk: Cracks or breaks in the rear brake caliper can reduce braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealer will replace the rear brake caliper, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 2, 2026. Owners may contact KTM and Husqvarna customer service at 1-888-985-6090. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov July 15, 2026.

The defect: KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Husqvarna FE 350s, FE 501s, and 2024-2025 GASGAS ES 350 and ES 500 motorcycles. The front brake caliper may crack in the area around the upper guide pin.
The risk: A broken front brake caliper can cause a loss of front brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the front brake caliper, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2025. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090.

The defect: KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles with equipped with TKC80 tires. Please refer to KTM's recall report for specific model details. Cracks longer than 3/16 inch may develop in the tread grooves. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 119, "New Pneumatic Tires-Other Than Passenger Cars."
The risk: Cracks in the tread can lead to tread separation, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the affected tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 16, 2022. Owners may contact KTM's customer service at 1-888-985-6090. KTM's numbers for this recall are KTB2208 and HTB2207.

The defect: KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2022 Husqvarna 350s and Husqvarna 501s motorcycles. The brake pad retaining clips on the front brake caliper may have been mounted incorrectly, which could result in loose or detached front brake pads.
The risk: Loose or detached front brake pads can reduce braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
The remedy: Owners are advised to not ride their motorcycles until the repair has been performed. Dealers will replace the front and rear brake pad retaining clips, free of charge. Owners notification letters were mailed February 2, 2022. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090. KTM's number for this recall is HTB2111. This recall supersedes NHTSA recall 21V-678. Motorcycles that were previously repaired under recall 21V-678 will need to have the new remedy performed under this recall.

The brake pad retaining clips on the front brake caliper may have been mounted incorrectly, which could result in loose front brake pads.
