The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2023-2025 Jeep Wagoneer L, and 2023-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L vehicles. The pivot bolts for the roof rack crossbars may not have been tightened properly, allowing them to detach.
The risk: Detached roof rack crossbars can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the roof rack crossbar pivot bolts, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed October 8, 2026. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 81D. The defect: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Wagoneer L, 2025-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, and 2026 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. Due to a software error, the tire pressure monitoring system may fail to detect low tire pressure and/or fail to illuminate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System."
The risk: A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of low tire pressure increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the radio frequency hub software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 17, 2026. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 54D. The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, Ram Promaster, Ram Promaster EV, Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid, Chrysler Voyager, and 2026-2027 Chrysler Pacifica and Dodge Charger vehicles. The rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
The risk: A rearview camera image that fails to display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Radio software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 2, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 78D. On 7/17/2026 I was involved in a motor vehicle crash resulting in damage to both my Jeep Wagoneer and the other vehicle. I was informed that I have a recall on my Electronic brake assist and the brake system control module for my Wagoneer today August 6th, 2026. I'm wondering if the faulty brake system control module contributed to the crash. I am unable to complete the recall repairs until after my wagnoeer is repaired after the resulting motor vehicle crash. I had no prior warning, messages, or problems prior to the failure. Also to note--I hit my head on my side driver door and sustained significant impact to the front fender wheel (driver side) and my air bags did not deploy. The resulting damages to my car are estimated at $19,000

Flash: Power Liftgate Module (PLGM) Updates Customers may experience one or more of the following symptoms: SYMPTOM: ● **Continuous chime is heard in the trunk area and does not stop with closing the liftgate, ignition shut off or CAN bus going to sleep. ● Vehicle may not start because the battery has become depleted due to: ○ Noise on the CAN bus. ○ Liftgate left open for more than few hours. ○ Continuous chime. ● Power Liftgate is not responding when first attempting to open after vehicle has sat for an extended period of time. ● Customer is unable to open the liftgate.** ● Power Liftgate does not open using the front interior switch, key fob, Hands Free Entry (HFE) kick or exterior handle. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may display "Liftgate Open", a warning light may illuminate even though the liftgate appears fully closed, and an audible chime may be generated at speeds above 8 kph (5 mph). ● The power liftgate system chimes when trying to operate the liftgate using a HFE kick while no key is detected in the zone. ● After enabling or disabling the HFE kick or the Power Liftgate Alert feature, the PLGM does not save the changes. ● The power liftgate latch releases after pressing the exterior handle switch, but the liftgate does not power open. This bulletin involves inspecting and possibly reprogramming the PLGM with the latest available software.
