TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER. WHILE IN PARK WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE WOULD DISENGAGE AND SHIFT INTO REVERSE INDEPENDENTLY. ALSO, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, THE KEY WOULD NOT ENGAGE THE IGNITION. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HAVING THE MUFFLER REPLACED, THE TECHNICIAN FOUND THAT A BOLT WAS MISSING FROM THE MOTOR MOUNT. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 02V053000 (POWER TRAIN), 93V210000 (STEERING), 93V051000 (SUSPENSION). HOWEVER, THE REMEDIES FAILED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD CONTINUE TO MOVE INADVERTENTLY AFTER THE RECALL REPAIR AND THAT THE STEERING FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 169,000.

I AM COMPLAINING ABOUT A SERVICE AGENT FOR ALL THE JEEP RECALLS THAT ARE IN EFFECT AIRPARK CHRYSLER WILL NOT HELP TO GET THESE FIXED AND HAVE BEEN VERY HURTFUL, AND DISRESPECTFUL TO ANYONE TRYING TO VERIFY THE ISSUE. DIFFERENT BRAND OF TIRES IN THE FRONT THAN IN THE REAR WITH A 1 INCH DIFFERNECE IN CIRCUMFERENCE CAUSED PRESSURE TO BUILD UP IN THE DIFFERENTIAL UNIT RESULTING IN SEVERAL DAMAGES DUE TO OVERHEATING, VEHICLE FIRE ON THIRD INCIDENT.
