THE STEERING WHEEL GETS STIFF, LOCKS EVENTUALLY AND THE CAR GOES DEAD WITHIN COUPLE OF MINUTES WHILE DRIVING. UPON 1ST DIAGNOSIS DEALER REPORTED THAT IT WAS DUE TO BAD BATTERY AND THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY. BUT THE SAME PROBLEM HAS REPEATED 3 TIMES NOW WITHIN A SPAN OF 2 MONTHS. DEALER IS NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM WHEREAS THE SAME ISSUE OCCURS EVERY TIME. THIS IS LIFE THREATENING AS THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE BEEN STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF A STREET AND MAJOR CROSS JUNCTIONS.

EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. BEFORE THE SCHEDULED OIL CHANGE AT 40,000 MILES, I CHECKED THE OIL LEVEL AND FOUND NO OIL ON THE DIPSTICK.

Some 2005 – 2026 Lexus vehicles that have undergone water intrusion may exhibit a condition in which a musty odor is present. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to remediate the odor and address this condition. The purpose of this Service Bulletin is to provide general guidelines and procedures for odor remediation. This Service Bulletin provides a guide on how to prepare and treat the interior of the vehicle for odor remediation. Refer to the applicable model and model year Repair Manuals and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) website for the most up-to-date safety and precautionary guidelines. SERVICE BRAKES

All VINs under 21LE01 are expired as of July 10, 2025 Although the Brake Booster and Brake Booster Pump Assemblies are covered by Lexus’ New Vehicle Limited Warranty for 4 years or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first), we at Lexus care about the customers’ ownership experience. Lexus is providing coverage for repairs related to certain internal malfunctions of the Brake Booster and Brake Booster Pump Assemblies in some of the subject vehicles.

Some 2010 – 2026 model year Lexus vehicles may exhibit paint stains after the removal of Rapgard™. The paint stains may appear to be under the clear coat but are usually under wrinkles in the Rapgard™. The wrinkles may trap water and cause the paint to stain from the trapped moisture, especially on horizontal surfaces such as the hood, roof, and trunk.
