HEADLIGHTS REMAINED ON WHILE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF. CONSUMER UNHOOKED THE BATTERY TO KEEP THE BATTERY CHARGED AND A BUZZING NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE DASHBOARD. CONSUMER DROVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT A HEADLIGHT SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK
STARTED OFF WITH LIGHTS GOING OFF INTERMITTENTLY, NOW GO OFF AND STAY OFF, IN ORDER TO HAVE HEADLIGHTS, I HAVE TO "HOLD" THE HIGH BEAM LIGHTS ON, I HAVE SUBMITTED THIS COMPLAINT SEVERAL TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE HELP. *AK
HEADLIGHTS WILL ALL THE SUDDEN GO OFF, THEN COME BACK ON, DOES THIS CONTINUOUSLY AND INTERMITTENTLY. THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THIS EVER SINCE WE HAVE OWNED THE CAR. I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT BY OTHER MOTORIST AND HAVE HAD MOTORIST FLASH THEIR LIGHTS. ALSO, I HAVE NEARLY RUN OFF THE ROAD WHEN I WAS DRIVING DOWN A DARK ROAD. I CONTACTED NHSTA BY TELEPHONE ON MONDAY 4/30/2001.*AK
LIGHT SWITCH REPLACED BY DEALER ON RECALL 98V009000 AT APPROX 45,000MILES. THE REPLACEMENT FAILED AGAIN AT 91,000. THE REPLACEMENT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE FIXED A BREAKER PROBLEM, BUT IT DIDNOT. *AK
HIGH MOUNT STOP LIGHT BULB FAILED.
HEAD GASKET FAILED.
CONSUMER WAS DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY WHEN HEADLIGHTS WENT COMPLETELY OUT-. THEY CAME BACK ON A COUPLE MINUTES LATER, BUT CONSUMER WAS DRIVING IN THE DARK FOR MINUTE. *AK
HAD NOTICED REAR HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP HAD BLOWN. THE AREA SURROUNDING SOCKET HAD MELTED. *AK *ML
AFTER DRIVING FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS THE HEADLIGHTS BEGAN BLINKING OFF AND ON. THE SAMETHING HAPPENED ON JAN 25, 1998. THE DEALER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. *AK
