I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND THE ROOF OF THE TRAILER FLEW OFF. IT APPEARS THE TOP METAL SHEET WAS HELD BY ONLY A THIN LAYER OF CAULK OR PUDDY AS THERE ARE NO SCREWS TO SECURE WHERE THE ROOF SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THIS WOULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE IF THERE WAS ANYONE BEHIND ME. IT IS A 2019 WITH LITTLE USE THAT I PURCHASED LESS THAN 90 DAYS AGO. *TT *DT CARFAX CANNOT PROCESS THIS REQUEST. SAYS IT IS INVALID. *JB

Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
TIRES
A hard copy of a memo sent to all dealers by email was sent to dealers via US post. This letter stressed the importance that our dealers comply with government regulations to record all tires sold either loose or on a trailer.
TIRES; WHEELS
This was a memo generated to all of our dealers as a reminder to complete the TIN cards, that are included in our warranty packets, and return them to our tire manufacturers. This applies to all makes and models.
STRUCTURE:BODY:ROOF AND PILLARS
Informational report to Ryan Rahimpour, Safety Defects Engineer, Office of Deffects Investigation, NHTSA, regarding a roof separation on a trailer. Details of apparent cause, remedy and best practices applications.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
