THIS PROBLEM EXISTS ON AT LEAST 4 OUT OF 10, MCI MOTOR-COACHES MANUFACTURED FROM 2006 TO 2013. THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN REPORTED NOR INVESTIGATED BECAUSE IT REMAINS UN-DETECTED DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, COMPUTER DIAGNOSTICS OR BY ANY COMPANY MECHANICS. THE ISSUE ONLY BECOMES APPARENT AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF CONTINUOUS DRIVING A (MINIMUM OF 400 MILES ) MCI PASSENGER MOTOR-COACH. NO FACILITY OR MECHANIC WILL DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR THE EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME TO DETECT THE PROBLEM. THERE IS ALSO NO EQUIPMENT/MONITOR AVAILABLE TO MONITOR OR EVALUATE THE AIR QUALITY IN THE DRIVER CABIN AREA. THE DRIVER AREA BEGINS TO SMELL OF ANTIFREEZE VAPORS/TOXIC FUMES THAT HAVE ESCAPED INTO THE DRIVER COCKPIT. THERE IS NO OBVIOUS LEAKS OF ANY COOLANT/ANTIFREEZE IN THE DRIVER AREA AND THE DRIVER AC/HEATER CORE APPEARS TO HAVE NO LEAKS YET THE TOXIC FUMES/VAPORS ARE SEEPING INTO THE DRIVER CABIN. THE DRIVERS ARE FORCED TO COPE WITH CONTINUOUS EXPOSURE OF THE DANGEROUS FUMES/VAPORS THAT NOT ONLY AFFECT THE ENTIRE ENVIRONMENT AND AIR QUALITY BUT THE HEALTH OF THE DRIVER AND POSSIBLY THE GENERAL PUBLIC/PASSENGERS. *TR

They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
