The defect: Motor Coach Industries (MCI) is recalling certain 2025 D4520, D45CRTLE, D45CRT, J3500, and 2025-2026 J4500 buses. The emergency exit label may be placed in the incorrect location. As such, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."
The risk: Incorrectly located labels may prevent or delay the use of the emergency exit, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: MCI will install or mail labels as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 6, 2025. Owners may contact MCI customer service at 1-800-241-2947.

This bulletin is to provide instructions for clearing DTC 1067 FMI 7 (Pressure Sensor Not Calibrated) and FMI 11 (Primary and Secondary Circuit Pressure Sensor (PS1/PS2) Plausibility Error - BS Pressure), when required to prevent the loss of Adaptive Cruise Control functionality and the illumination of a warning indicator.

This bulletin introduces an optional product improvement to the A/C compressor drive system for coaches equipped with a Cummins X12. The improved pulley system is available for customers who wish to reduce noise and vibration characteristics and may be installed at the customer’s discretion.
