The contact owns a 2022 Thor Motor Coach Tellaro built on a 2021 Ram 3500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal thumping sound coming from the roof of the RV, prompting the contact to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway to investigate. After a visual inspection, the contact observed that the roof mounted solar panel had partially detached. Upon further investigation, the contact became aware that the solar panel had completely detached. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who declined to inspect the RV. The contact was advised to take the RV to a Thor dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V759000 (Equipment), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 28,000.

I own a Thor Tellaro RV, body made by Dodge. Thor puts a 2nd alternator under the hood and a flange in front of it. This flange rubs against the radiator hose causing it to break. The coolant caused leaked out and the engine overheated and quit. Thor has acknowledged this problem, but Thor had no recall notice and will not cover the engine under warranty. This could have been a safety issue by starting an engine fire and having the vehicle stop in the middle of a state highway. Fortunately, neither of those things happened.

Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
EQUIPMENT
Timer module used with Relion batteries is not functioning properly which could overload the batteries and cause them to temporarily shut down. If the unit is not equipped with Relion batteries, no repair is needed.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
