THE STALK ON THE TURN SIGNALS BREAK LEAVING THE TURN SIGNALS NON-FUNCTIONAL. MY VEHICLE HAS LOW MILEAGE AND HAS ONLY BEEN USED ON NORMAL PAVED ROADS. ALL FOUR OF THE PLASTIC STALKS ON THE TURN SIGNALS HAVE BROKEN DURING NORMAL RIDES AT DIFFERENT TIMES. THIS RESULTS IN AN UNPREDICTABLE LOSE OF TURN SIGNALS WITHOUT WARNING DURING A RIDE. REPLACEMENT PARTS SOLD BY TRIUMPH APPEAR TO BE THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT.... *BF *BF *TR

TODAY, THE FOURTH OF ALL FOUR TURN SIGNAL STALKS HAVE BROKEN. THIS HAS ALL OCCURRED IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS. I CALLED A DEALER AND TRIUMPH AND WAS TOLD THAT MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED ON THE RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE.

ALL FOUR TURN INDICATORS HAVE HAD THE MOUNTING STALKS FAIL. THE LIGHT THEN HANGS BY THE POWER WIRES. ONE INDICATOR FAILED OVERNIGHT WHILE PARKED IN THE GARAGE. THREE FAILED DURING NORMAL RIDING ON STREETS AND HIGHWAYS WITH NO EXTERNAL FORCE OTHER THAN NORMAL RIDING VIBRATION. TRIUMPH RECALLED CERTAIN 2012 TIGER 800XC VIN NUMBERS, BUT DID NOT INCLUDE MINE. THE RECALL SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED THIS MOTORCYCLE AS IT IS PROMOTED AS BENG CAPABLE OF RIDING ON UNIMPROVED ROADS.

I HAVE A TRIUMPH TIGER 800XC MOTORCYCLE, AND THE BIKE HAS A STALLING PROBLEM. THE FIRST TIME I NOTICED IT WAS ON THE WAY TO THE DEALER FOR THE 500 MILES SERVICE, AS I PULLED UP TO A STOP LIGHT I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH AND THE MOTOR DIED. IT STALLED 2 MORE TIMES IN THE 1/4 MILE TO THE DEALER, EVERYTIME I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH IT DIED. I ALSO NOTICED THE BIKE IDLING STRANGE. THEY SAID THEY FIXED IT BUT IT STILL DOES IT. IT ALSO STALLS WHEN YOU ARE JUST TAKING OFF, AS YOU START TO RELEASE THE CLUTCH IT JUST DIES, THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN FOR ME , IF IT HAPPENS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION IT'S GOING TO BE BAD. I'VE CONTACTED THE DEALER AND HE SAID HE WILL CONTACT TRIUMPH, BUT WHEN I CALLED TRIUMPH THEY SAID THEY HAVE HEARD NOTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. ON THE INTERNET, IT IS A VERY WIDESPREAD PROBLEM, AND I KNOW THEIR HAVE BEEN MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS TO YOU ABOUT THIS. *TR

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
