The defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2026 AT Series vehicles. The turntable rotation bearing fasteners may not have been heat treated properly.
The risk: A fastener that has not been heat treated could fail, resulting in separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: Altec will instruct owners to inspect the lot number on the fasteners and, if necessary, order a rotation bolt kit to replace the fasteners, or schedule service with Altec, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3347.

The defect: Altec industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2014-2026 AT Series Aerial Device vehicles. The transmission park interlock may be missing, allowing the aerial device to operate while the chassis is not in park.
The risk: An aerial device that operates while the vehicle is in gear or neutral can cause unexpected vehicle movement and increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Altec will update the electrical harness and control modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3331.

EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL:BOOM/CRANE/LADDER:CONTROLS/CONTROL WIRING

The defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2025 AT Series, 2021-2025 AN Series Aerial Device, 2020-2026 TA Series Aerial Device, 2021 L Series Aerial Device, 2021 LR Series Aerial Device, 2023-2025 AM Series Aerial Device, and 2024-2025 AA Series Aerial Device vehicles. The ground level emergency stop (E-stop) may not stop hydraulic functions of the machine when the machine is in ePTO mode.
The risk: Hydraulic functions that do not immediately stop when the ground level E-stop is pressed, increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Altec will inspect the units and test to verify the E-stop function. If the wiring is found to be incorrect, it will be updated, free of charge. Letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed on July 8, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3322.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EXTERIOR LIGHTING; SERVICE BRAKES

Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from Ford Motor Company that a condition relating to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2022-2026 Super Duty vehicles equipped with Altec equipment. It is possible that the trailer module (TRM) may lose communication at vehicle start-up. If a TRM loss of communication occurs and a trailer is connected to the vehicle, the trailer's stop lamps and turn signal indicators will not function. This may result in inoperable trailer brake lights, turn signals, and braking functions, reducing a driver’s ability to control an attached trailer and making it less visible to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Altec has learned that in some instances, certain AT-ME/PE/SE and AT40-G units configured for aerial telematics data built from May 2025 to October 2025, below rotation wiring of the Below Rotation Interface Module (BRIM), or an Altec installed chassis inclinometer may create a situation where those components are awake and broadcasting CAN data when the above rotation main control module is off. This can cause the module to continuously reboot when the key is on. This continuous rebooting may cause the module to revert to defaults and no longer be able to save.

Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles that certain 2025 (DJ) RAM 2500 Pickup, 2025 (D2) RAM 3500 Pickup, 2025 (DD) RAM 3500 Cab Chassis, 2025 (DP) RAM 4500/5500 Cab Chassis vehicles that are equipped with Altec service bodies or AT-series aerial device fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Nos. 126 Electronic stability control systems for light vehicles and 208 Occupant crash protection.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; SERVICE BRAKES

Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from General Motors that a condition exists relating to motor vehicle safety, compliance, or emissions in a vehicle you possess that is equipped with Altec equipment. These vehicles may have a brake pressure sensor assembly that may allow brake fluid to leak beyond the diaphragm seal into the brake pressure switch.

Altec could have provided a fall protection lanyard combination with a metal clasp connection point instead of a nylon connection point with the nylon loop harness. This can result in excessive wear on the personal fall protection attachment points on the affected units.

ENGINE; STRUCTURE:BODY

Altec has learned that certain Chevrolet and International CV vehicles built from March 2024 to March 2025 could have been shipped without an exhaust tip.
