Owner complaintsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Safety recallsA safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.

InvestigationsNHTSA opens an investigation to examine whether a safety defect may exist. An open investigation is not a determination that a defect exists, and many investigations close without a recall. Investigations can, however, lead to one.
0
Crash or fire reportedComplaints whose submitter recorded that a crash or a fire occurred. These are the reporter's own answers on the NHTSA form, not verified findings.

The defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Entegra Ethos recreational vehicles. The Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC) and Tire Loading Information labels state an incorrect number of seat belt equipped seating positions, which can result in unbelted passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”
The risk: Unbelted passengers may not be properly restrained in a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
The remedy: Jayco will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 22, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903653.

The defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Entegra Ethos, Ethos LI, Jayco Swift and Swift LI vehicles. The risk: Incorrect tire and load range information could cause owners to select underrated replacement tires, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will install a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 19, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco Customer Service at 800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903614.

The defect: Jayco Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Entegra Ethos, Ethos LI, Arc, Jayco Swift, Swift LI, and Comet motorhomes. The radio software may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
The risk: A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: The radio software will be updated through an over-the-air (OTA) update or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 27, 2024. Upon inspecting the undercarriage of my RV, I discovered that the nut that secured the bolt for the anti-sway bar on the driver's side, rear axle was loose, to the point where I was able to remove it by hand. The RV has only 5,770 miles on it. Of relevance to this, while inspecting this unit prior to purchasing it in April, 2025, it was discovered that the nut for the anti-sway bar on the PASSENGER'S SIDE was missing. Upon pointing this out to the dealer (Le Mesa, Cape Coral, FL) it was replaced with a standard nut; not a nyloc nut as is OEM. I believe that these loose and missing nuts and bolts need to be addressed by the manufacturer of the RV (Entegra Motorcoach), as they are a critical component in attaching the anti-sway bar to the endlink.

Manufacturer communications

A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.

Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) Instructions to add receptacle to kitchen base countertop.

Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
