Owner-reported complaints naming the body or structure system, filed with NHTSA
Data refreshed
Body & structure reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

FLOOR MAT DOESN'T STAY IN PLACE AND GETS CAUGHT UP IN THE ACCELERATOR, BRAKE AND CLUTCH PEDALS. ALSO, MY CIVIC IS BLUE (ORIGINAL PAINT) AND AS I'VE SEEN WITH MANY OTHER 1992-1995 HONDA CIVICS WITH THIS COLOR, THE PAINT IS LITERALLY GONE FROM THE HOOD AND ROOF. I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF CHEAP MATERIAL WAS USED, BUT IT'S TERRIBLE! *TR

THIS CRASH KILLED MY MOTHER.*AK I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE THAT WOULD KNOW INFORMATION ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THIS VEHICLE. I WOULD LIKE TO PROVE THAT AN EXCESSIVE SPEED WAS INVOLVED BY THE OTHER PARTY, AND NEED ANY HELP ANYONE CAN GIVE. PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING THAT COULD HELP ME, LET ME KNOW. 1995 HONDA JUST PURCHASED USED. AFTER PURCHASE, NOTICED BROKEN WELDS ON BODY (BOTH SIDES OF VEHICLE) WHERE DOORS ATTACH TO VEHICLE BODY. WENT TO HONDA SERVICE, BUT SERVICE TECH HAD NO ANSWER, WAS NO ASSISTANCE. ALSO ASKED ABOUT 5/1999 TECH BULLETIN FROM AMER. HONDA TO INSTALL AIRBAG SWITCH (CHILD RIDES IN FRONT OF CAR) - SERVICE TECH SAID NOT AWARE OF BULLETIN, DID NOT OFFER ASSISTANCE. ASKED SERVICE TECH WHY OIL DIPSTICK PREMATURELY RUSTING-OFF, ON TOP (EVERY DEL-SOL I'VE SEEN HAS THIS PROBLEM... RUST COULD EVENTUALLY GO INTO ENGINE CRANKCASE) BUT SERVICE TECH HAD NO EXPLANATION, DID NOT OFFER ASSISTANCE. THE FIRST 2 PROBLEMS COULD LEAD TO PERSONAL INJURY, AND THE 3RD PROBLEM COULD LEAD TO ENGINE FAILURE.*AK
