THIS BULLETIN PROVIDES INFORMATION WITH REGARDS TO THE ISUZU COMMERCIAL VEHICLE (CV) SERVICE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL (SPPM). THE ISUZU CV SPPM (SECTIONS 2.15 AND 2.16) PROVIDES DETAILED PROCEDURES RELATED TO VEHICLE STORAGE UP TO AND BEYOND 30 DAYS. PERFORMING THESE REQUIRED PROCEDURES AT THE SPECIFIED INTERVALS WILL PROPERLY MAINTAIN VEHICLES UNTIL THEY ARE RETAILED. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES OUTLINED MAY RESULT IN REPAIRS AND ADDITIONAL COSTS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. WE ARE PROVIDING DEALERS WITH THIS BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE RECOMMENDED PROCEDURES AS A REMINDER TO MAINTAIN OLDER INVENTORY. FAILURES RESULTING FROM IMPROPER, OR LACK OF, STORAGE PROCEDURES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THE VEHICLE FACTORY WARRANTY.

This bulletin provides information with regards to the Isuzu Commercial Vehicle (CV) Service Policies and Procedures Manual (SPPM). The Isuzu CV SPPM (sections 2.15 and 2.16) provides detailed procedures related to vehicle storage up to and beyond 30 days. Performing these required procedures at the specified intervals will properly maintain vehicles until they are retailed. Failure to follow the procedures outlined may result in repairs and additional costs that could have been avoided. We are providing dealers with this brief overview of the recommended procedures as a reminder to maintain older inventory. Failures resulting from improper, or lack of, storage procedures are not covered under the vehicle factory warranty.

This bulletin outlines the procedures for using the Alpine Exchange Program (the "Exchange Program"). The Exchange Program must be used when any Alpine radio or other component covered by this bulletin is repaired under warranty and may also be used for radio and component repairs not covered under warranty. Contact Alpine directly for pricing and payment methods applicable to radio and component repairs not covered under warranty.

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc. is distributing this procedure for adding keyless entry transmitters as a quick reference to help dealers better service customer. Also included is the clearing procedure for customers who have had transmitters lost or stolen. This procedure may be used to clear all transmitters from the Keyless Entry Control Unit.

We have received reports of the front turn signal lenses cracking on Isuzu vehicles. These lenses are cracking from the effects of being washed with alkaline detergents. Alkaline detergents are typically used in industrial settings and are reactive with the paint, metals, and other materials used to make up the exterior components of Isuzu vehicles. Isuzu recommends that only neutral detergents be used when washing Isuzu vehicles. However, if alkaline detergents are used to wash an Isuzu vehicle, it is crucial that all traces of the detergent are rinsed away with water or wiped off as necessary. Allowing alkaline detergent to dry on the turn signal lenses will cause them to crack. Each Isuzu vehicle is originally equipped with an Owner's Manual that includes guidelines for the proper exterior maintenance of the vehicle. The following guidelines are typical of those found in an Isuzu Owner's Manual concerning the use of detergents on a vehicle's exterior.

Isuzu Motors Limited has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 model year F-Series vehicles. The jam nut for the steering stopper bolt on the left side may loosen and allow the bolt to back away from the steering knuckle. This could result in an increase in the turning radius of the vehicle in left turns, which could make it difficult to make sharp turns. If the vehicle's turning radius is increased, there is an increased risk of a crash. A prior recall (19V-467) was conducted to address this issue, but we have identified this condition on vehicles that were remedied in that campaign as well as those that were produced after a change in production intended to prevent the condition.
