The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Jeep Wrangler, Wrangler 4XE, and Jeep Gladiator vehicles. The electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring may overheat and cause a vehicle fire, even when the vehicle is parked with the ignition in the "Off" position.
The risk: A vehicle fire increases the risk of injury.
The remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, until their vehicle is repaired. Dealers will inspect and replace the wiring and electric hydraulic power steering pump, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 9, 2026. Owners may contact FCA US LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US LLC's number for this recall is 21D. The Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov on June 11, 2026.

The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles. A software error in an over-the-air (OTA) update may result in a loss of drive power.
The risk: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the telematics box module software, free or charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed November 20, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is A7C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 23, 2025.

The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE and 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.
The risk: A vehicle fire while parked or driving can increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: This recall is replaced by NHTSA recall number 25V741. Vehicles already repaired under this recall will need to have the new remedy completed. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, and not to recharge their vehicles until they are repaired. Dealers will update the high voltage battery pack software and replace the battery pack assembly, if necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 11, 2024. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 95B. Vehicles in this recall that were previously recalled for the same issue under NHTSA Recall 23V-787 will need to have the new remedy performed.

The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has identified 68 Vehicle Owner Questionnaire (VOQ) reports for model years (MY) 2021 through 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles alleging a loss of motive power. Recall 22V-865 was issued by the manufacturer to address an engine shutdown condition in certain MY 2021-2023 Wrangler 4xe vehicles. The complaints noted here contain both post recall remedy failures and failures in vehicles not included within the scope of 22V-865. An analysis comparing complaints received before the issuance of recall 22V-865 and complaints outside the scope of the recall has been conducted. The results show the current complaint rate is higher in the out of scope vehicles than it was for vehicles that were later covered by the recall. ODI is opening this Recall Query (RQ) to assess the severity of the alleged defect in vehicles not included in recall 22V-865.ODI will also assess the scope and remedy effectiveness of the recall. The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received a recall letter from the manufacturer for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure but had no safe place to park the vehicle away from other vehicles.

My 2023 jeep wrangler 4xe indicated a service charging system notification on dash on 29oct2025. It turns on to acc mode only, but does not fully turn on to drive, it is immobilized. 30oct2025, I called jeep roadside assistance to have towed to neareat jeep repair shop, which is autonation jeep Carlsbad. Autonation refused a loaner vehicle, gave a 1-6 week repair timeline, and insisted there is a 250$ diagnostic fee even with the electrical issue, and know idcm issue via stellantis tsb. Refusal of warranty diagnostic ($250 fee) and rental for known IDCM failure. Refusal of warranty diagnostic ($250 fee) and rental for known IDCM failure. While driving to work before daylight the jeep lost all electrical power and cut all lights inside and outside so I couldn't see. There were no other lights to guide me to a pull off. I almost hit a concrete barrier because of this. I just got this vehicle back from replacing the hybrid battery from a recall. There are no check engine lights on and I was able once stopped to restart in gas mode only.

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the battery failed to maintain the charge. The contact sustained minor cuts due to an interior metal chrome lining that had deteriorated. No medical attention was sought. The local dealer was contacted; however, no assistance was provided. The contact was advised to park the vehicle away from buildings and other vehicles. The contact was made aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V720000 (Electrical System). The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

Fuel Delivery Module Before replacing the fuel module for DTCs P0461 and P062A and other not start, long crank, fuel gauge accuracy and drivability issues, the technician should disconnect the electrical connector at the pump and perform a visual inspection of the connector for and bent, spread, or pushed out terminals. Repair any issues found. Reconnect the plug and perform a push pull push to ensure the connector is fully installed. Then perform 3 keys cycles and listen to hear if the fuel pump is operational. If the fuel pump is heard that indicates that everything is operating correctly. If the pump is heard replacement is not necessary, any replacement will function in the same way.

Flash: Integrated Dual Charging Module (IDCM) Updates Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation SYMPTOM: the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) have been set: ● B22A9-87 - ECU Internal Performance - Missing Message. ● P0D21-00 - Battery Charger "A" Output Voltage Too Low. Customer may also experience the following: ● Vehicle will not charge. This bulletin involves reprogramming the IDCM with the latest software available.
