TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 LEXUS LS460. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE LIGHTLY TAPPING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE BRAKES WOULD GRAB. THE CONTACT DESCRIBED THE BRAKES AS VERY GRABBY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER THOMPSON LEXUS LOCATED AT 2560 MARYLAND RD, WILLOW GROVE, PA 19090, WHO INDICATED THAT THE BRAKES OPERATED ACCORDING TO SPEC. AND NO MECHANICAL PROBLEM WAS FOUND. THE ENGINEER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.*DT THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A 2ND DEALER WHO STATED THE GRABBY BRAKE WAS ENGINEERED TO THE VEHICLE AND COULDN'T BE FIXED. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 LEXUS LS460. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TURNING LEFT THE VEHICLE'S ACCELERATOR PEDAL PROVIDED NO ACCELERATION. THE CONTACT HAD TO PUMP THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE VEHICLE WOULD SPEED UP. THE CONTACT SPOKE TO THE DEALER LEXUS OF LEXINGTON (1264 E NEW CIRCLE RD, LEXINGTON KY 859-600-0293). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A PROBLEM ACROSS THE BOARD WITH A LOT OF LEXUS WITH THE TRANSMISSION HESITATING. THE TRANSMISSION PROVIDED SEVERAL MODES OF THE TRANSMISSION WITH A KNOB ON THE CONSOLE THAT ALLOWS THE DRIVER MORE OPTIONS. THE DEALER SUGGESTED TO KEEP IT OUT OF THE ECO MODE WHICH CAUSED A LOT OF HESITATION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.*DT CONSUMER STATED TRANSMISSION CAUSED THE FAILURES AND STALLINGS OF THE ENGINES.*JB

ON SAT., SEPT. 14, 2019 ABOUT 7:35AM WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING MY 2015 LEXUS LS460 THE BRAKES CAME ON AND JERK HER FORWARD & BACKWARD, THE SEATBELT ALMOST STRANGLED HER. ALSO BRAKE LIGHT FLASHED ORANGE & BEEPING. SHE WENT TO URGENT CARE TO BEEN EVALUATED.TOOK THE CAR TO CHANTILLY VA LEXUS SERVICE FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. ON WED., SEPT. 18, 2019 ABOUT 3:15PM THE ORANGE BRAKE LIGHT & BEEPING CAME ON AGAIN THIS TIME I WAS IN THE CAR WITH MY DAUGHTER. ON THUR., SEPT. 19, 2019 TOOK THE CAR TO ALEXANDRIA VA LEXUS SERVICE & THEY KEPT THE CAR FOR 2 DAYS FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. TUES., SEPT. 24, 2019 THE ORANGE BRAKE LIGHT & BEEPING CAME ON AGAIN, AND I WAS IN THE CAR WITH MY DAUGHTER.

ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL:AUTOMATIC (ASC); LANE DEPARTURE
TSB: Some 2013 ? 2017 model year LS 460 vehicles may exhibit a condition where the brake, ABS, and/or TRAC warning lights are on and/or a Check VSC message displays. One or more of the following specific Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) C1391, C1252, C1256, or C1253 will be stored in the vehicle memory to be used as verification. This condition may be caused by a small internal brake fluid leak inside the brake actuator. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

DL: On December 20, 2022, a settlement of claims for certain low pressure fuel pumps was approved by the federal court. The settlement includes Lexus?s agreement to provide a Customer Support Program for certain 2013-2020 model year (MY) vehicles originally equipped with low pressure fuel pumps repaired under Safety Recall 20LA01 or Special Service Campaign 21LC01. The purpose of this Customer Support Program letter is to help clarify how to administer this coverage in accordance with the settlement.

TSB: Some 2013 ? 2020 model year Lexus vehicles may exhibit a hard start and/or MIL ON condition with one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ?DTC P0171 and/or P0174 (System Too Lean Bank 1/Bank 2) ?DTC P0087 Fuel Rail / System Pressure ? Too Low Techstream data list analysis may reveal positive fuel trims including a no pressure condition verified by a manual fuel pressure gauge. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address these conditions.
