The defect: Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh) is recalling certain 2024-2025 S-Series vehicles. The front axle housing wall thickness may not be sufficient and can cause the axle to fail.
The risk: Front axle failure can cause a sudden loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Oshkosh will inspect and replace the front axles as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 30, 2025. Owners may contact Oshkosh customer service at 1-833-304-8100.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL; VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:THROTTLE

The defect: Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh) is recalling certain 2022-2024 S-Series vehicles. The throttle pedal assembly may contain an oversized magnet carrier, slowing the responsiveness or causing the pedal to stick.
The risk: A pedal that sticks increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Oshkosh will replace the throttle pedal, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 31, 2025. Owners may contact Oshkosh customer service at 1-888-686-7278.

This bulletin provides instructions to install the latest battery disconnect switch on S-Series 2.0 vehicles in serial number range 788727 - 814085.

This bulletin provides instructions to install a check valve in the chute return hydraulic circuit to prevent fluid back flow through the chute manifold if a chute up or down hose fails, and install a shut-off valve on the fan manifold to turn off flow of hydraulic oil to the chutes and water pump.

This bulletin provides instruction for replacing the existing chute drive washer with a hardened steel washer. This change prolongs the service life of the drive sprocket and chute operation.

FDM-TSB-006

This bulletin provides instructions for removing an inoperative vehicle TCU. Oshkosh Corporation initiated an over-the-air update security certification on TCUs for a select population of Oshkosh® S-Series™ 2.0 Front Discharge Mixers. The software update process was unsuccessful and has caused select TCUs to become inoperative. Affected TCUs must be returned to Oshkosh Corporation for reflashing in a controlled environment.
