Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
This bulletin provides instructions to install the latest battery disconnect switch on S-Series 2.0 vehicles in serial number range 788727 - 814085.
This bulletin provides instructions to install a check valve in the chute return hydraulic circuit to prevent fluid back flow through the chute manifold if a chute up or down hose fails, and install a shut-off valve on the fan manifold to turn off flow of hydraulic oil to the chutes and water pump.
This bulletin provides instruction for replacing the existing chute drive washer with a hardened steel washer. This change prolongs the service life of the drive sprocket and chute operation.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE
This bulletin provides information on verifying powertrain harness grounds are correctly installed, and covers the installation of an optional engine ground cable.
ENGINE
This bulletin provides information on making sure the dedicated ground from the battery negative to the engine block ground stud remains installed when a powertrain harness is replaced. Service personnel have found instances of this ground cable not being reconnected when a powertrain harness has been replaced, this dedicated ground MUST be installed as it was when the vehicle left the factory. Failure to keep the dedicated ground installed could lead to engine failure over time.
This bulletin provides instructions for installing a longer hydraulic hose between the auxiliary pump and the hydraulic manifold load sense port, and a straight fitting to the hydraulic manifold load sense port to reduce pressure spikes. The longer hose provides additional hydraulic fluid volume between the auxiliary pump and hydraulic manifold and acts as an accumulator for the load sense auxiliary pump function.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
