1993 Plymouth Voyager Airbags Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the airbag system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Airbags reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

CLOCK SPING IS A WIRE HARNESS LOCATED IN THE STEERING COLUMN THAT CONTROLS THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG, HORN & CRUISE CONTOL . WHEN DAMAGED FROM NO FAULT ON PART OF THE DRIVER THE HORN WILL NOT WORK THE AIR BAG WILL NOT DEPLOY WHEN NEEDED OR MIGHT DEPLOY WITHOUT ANY IMPACT . I FEEL THAT THIS IS A SAFTY DEFECT THAT SHOULD BE REPAIRED BY THE MANUFACTURER AT NO COST TO THE CONSUMER.*AK
