2015 RAM 1500 Interior & seats Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the interior system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Interior & seats reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

I NOTICED A STALE SMELL COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE CAB THAT WOULD COME AND I WOULD ENCOUNTER A STALE SMELL THAT WOULD COME AND GO AWAY. I GOOGLED THESE IF ANYONE ELSE WITH THE SAME TRUCK WAS HAVING THIS ISSUE. I CAME ACROSS SOMEONE AND THEY STATED TO CHECK UNDERNEATH THE BACK SEAT AND SURE ENOUGH IT WAS WET FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. I THINK IT IS COMING FROM THE THE REAR BODY EXHAUST VENTS THAT ARE NOT SEALING PROPERLY.

DRIVERS SIDE LUMBAR NOT WORKING, DEALER SAID SEAT BACK NEEDS REPLACING. HARD TO BELIEVE THESE NEED TO BE DONE ON A 3 YR OLD VEHICLE WITH 44K MILES ON IT. NEITHER ARE SAFETY ITEMS, HOWEVER MANY ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE RADIOS IN THESE VEHICLES.
