The defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2016-2024 Allegro Bus, and 2017-2024 Zephyr motorhomes. The 240-Volt induction cooktop may not be grounded, which can create an electrical shock hazard if the wires short-circuit.
The risk: An electrical shock can increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will install a ground for the metal junction box, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 20, 2023. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-133.

The defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain model year 2017 Allegro Bus motorhomes manufactured April 12, 2016, to June 21, 2016. Due to insufficient holding power of the mirror arm swivel mechanism, the passenger side mirror could move while the vehicle is in motion.
The risk: If the mirror does not stay in position, it can reduce the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Tiffin will notify owners, and dealers will install a retrofit kit to secure the passenger mirror swivel arm mechanism, free of charge. The recall began on September 9, 2016. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256- 356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-103.

Traveling in rain when passenger side windshield wiper came off as the wiper arm traveled past the curve of the windshield. Had to remove the passenger side wiper arm in order to continue in the rain while only able to use driver side wiper.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING

Stopped using the lights we had been using due to expense. Replaced with these, but these new lights have to be wired in instead of just clicking in. These are the instructions to wire in.

CSA-036

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

Faulty DEF sensors that due to shortage were not replaced. Instead engine software was temporarily modified to account for continued operation with a faulty sensor until replacement sensors were available. This campaign will install an engine control module calibration as well as confirm and/or install a new DEF header.

This was a letter to our dealers we sent out when we first heard of the Kidde fire extinguisher recall, even though it was still unofficial. We knew our coaches on the dealers' lots contained Kidde and could not be sold unreplaced.

SB-50 was reported to you July 2016. We notified a few before ZF Systems contacted us telling us to hold up. They thought the recall would be cancelled due to more testing that had been done. In Dec. we received notice to cancel. We sent the letter to the ones we had contacted prior.

EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY

There is a possibility that the screws secruing the rear spoiler were not properly installed. Over time, these screws could start to back out, causing the spoler to loosen. Tiffin sent out work instructions on securing the rear spoiler screws.
