The defect: Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2027 Navion and View recreational vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
The risk: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 4, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 209.

Winnebago is implementing an improved sealant application process to enhance durability, long-term maintenance, and vehicle appearance. Moving forward, SikaLastomer®-714 will be used as the sealant for roof-mounted components, including roof vents, skylights, and TV antennas. This change eliminates the use of self-leveling sealant around roof components, providing a cleaner, more refined appearance while reducing concerns related to cracking or discoloration commonly associated with traditional sealants.
